With the glow of our next birthday fast approaching, we’re excited to reflect on our most recent year in business. Six years of Performance is right around the corner, and now we can celebrate just how far we’ve come, reviewing recent challenges and embracing future growth with open arms.
Year-End Success
Let’s kick things off with the highlights.
Despite the twists and turns of the market, we’ve managed to navigate through with resilience, hitting milestones and overcoming hurdles with determination. Of course, none of this would have been possible without our stellar team whose dedication and hard work have truly lit up the path to success.
Branding and Marketing Efforts
With a fresh coat of paint and revised strategy, we uplifted our brand presence and worked hard to position ourselves as future innovators in the industry.
From the brand refresh to our elevated product offering, we’ve consulted with some of Yorkshire’s finest strategists and marketers to make Performance better than ever before.
Since working alongside Edward Ryder at Biskit and the copywriting team at Artus Digital, our marketing initiatives have sparked interest across the UK, captivating audiences and shedding light on something we value the most – our company culture and high-quality products.
New Infrastructure
Ah, infrastructure investments – the backbone of our operations. From the development of our office and warehouse facilities to sleek improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, this year we laid the groundwork for future growth. We’re excited to see how our infrastructure develops in the coming years!
Sustainability at the Heart
Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword at Performance – it’s a long-term strategy and way of working. From introducing eco-friendly initiatives to embracing new ESG and CSR strategies, we’ve started to weave sustainability into the fabric of our business – and we’ve got a long road ahead of us.
Expanding Horizons
As we look towards the future, we see huge possibilities for growth and expansion. With further plans to broaden our product range, reach new markets and strengthen ties with electrical wholesalers, we’re poised to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Our sights are set on attracting top talent to join our ranks, fueling innovation and driving our organisation to new heights.
Community Connection
Last but certainly not least, our journey wouldn’t be complete without community support. This past year, we have actively engaged with local teams and suppliers, whilst also extending our hand to various charities and initiatives such as the Salvation Army and Wakefield Hospice.
It’s through these collaborations that we can map our impact and make a meaningful difference in our area.
Looking Ahead
As we wave goodbye to our fifth year in business, we’re filled with gratitude and anticipation. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this past year and here’s to many more years of success, innovation and (LED) light!
Warm regards,
Matt Walker and John Hall, Performance Lighting
