Matthew Walker – Joint Managing Director

Matthew (or Matt as we know him!) is one of our MDs, with over 20 years experience in lighting.

Matt’s your man for anything you need to know about our range if of LED fittings as he knows their spec inside out!

Matt’s a big Leeds Utd fan; a lover good Thai food and ‘the missing member’ of Indie super group ‘Oasis’! Tonight, he’s a rock and roll star!

John Hall – Joint Managing Director

John has spent the majority of his career in the lighting industry, yet is still learning every day. However, he still enjoys the day to day challenges of the lighting industry and finding a solution to a problem. His nickname is The Lighting  Jedi!

He has enjoyed the pain and pleasure of following Leeds Utd for many years and likes to eat out, especially trying fine dining restaurants and is quite partial to a holiday cruise – one hotel room with many destinations!

I love spending time with my grandchild and intends to relive his own childhood through them.

Dave Wilson – National Sales Manager

Dave is our National Sales Manager and has 24 years in the lighting industry under his belt and, prior to that,  a few years in electrical wholesaling – however, he won’t say how many as it will give away his age!

Dave cites his interests as ‘socialising’ (aka drinking!) and playing the violin – not sure that’s entirely true or they occur at the same time!

As a little extra fact about Dave, impressively he has also served in the Royal Air Force.. so chocks away Dave!

Pete Wiseman – Regional Sales Manager

Pete Wiseman (real secret first name is Stuart!) is our Regional Sales Manager and has worked in lighting for around 10 years and it’s fair to say that he appreciates a good luminaire when he sees one!

Away from work he still manages to play football and coaches both girls and boys – he has twins! He loves his food and drink and, of course, listening to the Beatles!

Gary Stead – Business Development Manager

Gary is the musician amongst us, being a dab hand on the guitar – even playing in a ‘proper’ band! Gary looks after our Independent Wholesale customers and has built up some great relationships over the past 3 years.

Another avid Leeds United fan and a Star Wars ‘geek’, he’s always got a variety of conversation topics to go at!

Luke Wiseman – National Account Manager

Let’s get this out of the way… Luke is a big Liverpool Fan! But on his plus side has over 12 years of experience in the lighting industry and is probably best known for LED Fittings, Batteries and Control Gear.

His weekends are spent doing ‘family stuff’ and he likes to cook, but probably enjoys eating the food more than cooking it. A red wine lover (poss too much!) and likes to wind Matt up on a daily basis.

Courtney Knowles – National Sales Executive

Courtney (or ‘Courts’ as we call her) is our National Internal Sales Exec, working in tandem with Luke. She’s relatively new to the lighting industry, but is proving to be a quick learner!

She likes a good pamper session and getting her nails done! She also likes going on holiday and enjoys eating Chinese food – good call Courtney!

Catrina Hirst – Administration Manager

Cat is our ever-reliable Administration Manager, and is super-organised and very efficient!

With over 10 years of lighting industry experience in her locker, she knows her stuff and, as an ex-Leeds United Ladies player, Cat is our secret 5-a-side weapon and the ‘glue’ that holds us us all together!

Phil Leigh – Warehouse Manager

The Performance warehouse is where Phil pretty much lives his life!

It’s his ‘happy place’ and you can find him keeping our extensive range of LED fittings in order and trundling around in his fork-lift truck.

When he is allowed out, Phil enjoys long walks in the country with his beloved doggies and girlfriend. He is also a keen Man United fan, but let’s not dwell on that!
